Jerry Greenberg has been one of the foremost underwater photographers since the 1950s. Unable to find underwater camera housings back then, Jerry crafted his own. Famous for his "kiss of flash", his compositional skills, and his knack for being in the right place at the right time (never mind the hours it took for it to become the right time!), Jerry's skill and artistry has been featured in Skin Diver Magazine, Life, Argosy, National Geographic, Audubon Magazine, and many others. To date, his company, Seahawk Press, has published over a dozen books and innovated the waterproof fish identification guides.

Idaz Greenberg uses her immense talent to illustrate the Fishcards and Guide books, and has proven to be a gifted researcher and writer. Together, the Greenbergs choose from among thousands of photographs, design the layouts of each page, polish the text, and are closely involved in all aspects of the printing process. Some of their books include underwater photographs taken by their son, Michael Greenberg. Jerry and Idaz have been married since 1955 and reside in Miami, Florida. Because of their artistry and high standards, Seahawk Press books and waterproof cards are truly a finely crafted labor of love.
